Environmental and Development Studies (General) in Social Sciences, Department of Geography, University of Sri Jayawardenepura First Year External Degree Students and Environment and Development Forum Department of Geography Studies, DFCC Bank, Department of Coastal Conservation, Navy, Bureau of Geological Survey and Mines, Sri The project of planting a large number of mangrove saplings jointly by the Ceylon Police was arranged to be carried out on June 07, 2024 in Wennappuwa Kammala area on the basis of “World Environment Day” on June 05 and “World Ocean Day” on June 08.
Mangrove saplings are provided to this project under the ‘Life of the Seas’ program of DFCC Bank with the full support of DFCC Bank, and they continue to carry out such environmental and social care projects every year. DFCC Bank is launching this project in association with the above institutions.
