All the examinations of the first stage of registration i.e. year I, year II and year III of the 2014 batch of the Bachelor of Arts in English (General) External Degree Program have been conducted. But the undergraduates, who have not yet completed the degree and wish to continue the studies are required to renew the registration
Application for the renewal of registration and the bank account number for payments can be downloaded using below link by entering the NIC number. Registration renewal Fee is Rs. 5,000.00 per year and the dully filled application along with the payment receipt and the student’s record book should be sent to the Assstant Registrar, External Degrees and Extension Courses Unit, University of Sir Jayewardenepura, Gangodawila, Nugegoda either by registered post or by hand. “Renewal of Registration – Bachelor of Arts in English (Generel) External Degree Programme” should be written on the top left corner of the envelope
This renewal of registration will be valid for a year and the undergraduates are eligible to apply for part I, II repeat examinations of the Bachelor of Arts in English (General) External Degree Program during that period. It is required to renew the registration before applying for the relevant repeat examinations.
Total period granted for completing the degree is seven years and registration will not be extended after that period.
Undergraduates are advised to make payments only to the account number applicable to him/her (A copy of the payment receipt should be kept along with the candidate).
