Programme Review of the External Degree Programmes
As per the directions of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Council (QAAC) of University Grants Commission (UGC), the IQAC/ EDECU is in the process of conducting the programme review of five degree programmes; i) Bachelor of Management (Public) General (External) Degree Programme and ii) Bachelor of Commerce (General) External Degree Programme representing the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce (FMSC), and iii) Arts (General) External Degree Programme, iv) Bachelor of Arts in English (General) External Degree Programme and v) Bachelor of Social Sciences in Environmental and Development Studies (General) External Degree Programme, representing the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS).
In line with the Manual for Quality Assurance of External Degree Programmes and Extension Courses offered by the University, the process of programme review has been carried out since the last year. For each external degree programme., the evidence for meeting 90 standards under 6 criteria are being compiled both in physical and virtual mode. By the end of the Month of January in 2022, the measures were taken by the relevant authorities of each degree programme to submit the respective Self Evaluation Report (SER) to the UGC.
Operational Plan for Programme Review of the External Degree Programmes

6. Review progress of individual committees regarding the completion of filling System
|7. Commencing review and write the self-evaluation report||January to June 2022|
To guide the stakeholders involved in the process of programme review of EDPs a couple of workshops and meetings were organized with the contribution of several resource persons. In addition to that, from time to time, a number of meetings with the committee members of each degree programme were also conducted to review the progression of the process.
